Gavin is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years’ experience advising business owners, management teams and investors on corporate finance, funding, transactions and strategic growth.

Having trained with Grant Thornton, Gavin has built extensive experience across debt and equity fundraising, management buyouts, acquisitions and disposals, restructuring and refinancing. He has advised on and supported transactions with a combined value in excess of £300 million.

As a Director of Nauvoo Ventures, Gavin works closely with owner-managed businesses and management teams, providing practical, commercially focused advice throughout the business lifecycle. This ranges from raising capital and structuring transactions through to strategic planning, board-level support and preparing businesses for acquisition or exit.

Gavin also acts as a Non-Executive Director and strategic adviser to a number of businesses, bringing an independent perspective alongside hands-on commercial and financial experience.

His approach is straightforward and commercial: understanding what a business and its shareholders are trying to achieve, identifying the right strategy and helping them deliver it.

Marie-Anne is the founder of Nauvoo Ventures and a highly experienced, commercially focused finance professional with a Big Four background.

She has held Financial Director and Group Financial Controller positions across sectors including property and construction, utilities, healthcare, banking and retail. Her expertise spans financial reporting, accounting systems and processes, financial control and the wider commercial management of growing businesses.

Marie-Anne combines strategic insight with a practical approach, helping clients strengthen their financial foundations and make confident, well-informed decisions.

Dafydd holds a degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of the West of England. He first joined Nauvoo during a year-long industry placement, gaining hands-on experience across a diverse client portfolio and developing a strong understanding of the financial needs of growing businesses.

Now working with Nauvoo as a Finance Executive, Dafydd provides day-to-day support to clients across a range of industries. His responsibilities include preparing management accounts, managing payroll and bookkeeping, and responding to clients’ ongoing finance queries.

Dafydd is currently working towards his ACCA qualification. He enjoys developing strong client relationships and providing the practical, dependable support businesses need to manage their finances effectively.
